INTERESTED IN A YOUTH EXCHANGE?

The youth exchange program between the twinned towns of Ramat Gan and Weinheim was established in 1986. Every year, about 20 students from Weinheim and 20 students from Ramat Gan take part in the program sponsored by the "Freundeskreis Weinheim-Ramat Gan e.V.". They experience a deep dive into culture and history and many of them make friends for life.

In an interview, a reporter from Weinheim Youth Media wanted to know from two 2016 exchange participants what their experiences were during the four weeks of the exchange and why this program can be so interesting and valuable for young people.

For more information see also the heading “Youth Exchange Program”.

INTERESTED IN A CITIZENS' TRIP?

For several years, the Circle of Friends has been organizing trips to Israel for Weinheim citizens and journalists.

The video and the newspaper article from the Weinheimer Nachrichten on the 2017 trip with a group of 25 illustrates the variety of this extraordinary trip to a country full of contrasts and controversaries.
